Oh god, an absolutely amazing cheesesteak! It's a bit pricey but the quality is fantastic and portions are huge. And honestly for the taste alone, it is worth it! This is the best cheesesteak I've had in the Bay

Got 20 chicken wings. Half Lemon Pepper half honey garlic. First time trying their lemon pepper pretty good 7.5/10. Honey Garlic are always a smash 10/10
Great late night food spot in Berkeley near campus. The Mushroom Cheesesteak was so flavorful and hit the spot. The menu overall is quite large too, so definitely give it a proper look before ordering--I was reading so many delicious things I wanted to try the next time I was there! Note, the wait can be quite long here and there is no dedicated seating/table area, so just keep that in mind if you are in a rush. Overall, IB's is a good spot!
Haven't been in yearsssss! I was outside late night in Berkeley and seen IBs! Me and my friend were juiced they were open! I got a chopped cheese and it was bombbbbbbbbbbbbb! 10/10! I got the regular size and as you can see from the photo, it was way more than enough! All I needed was some jalapeños! The service was amazing especially for it being so late. They got us in and out within 15 minutes. If you know IBs, you know everything is made fresh! I can't wait to go back, I want to try the surf and turf Philly steak!!!!!!
I'm so glad Berkeley had restaurant week recently and I was able to pop in and try IB's. I always walk past it but have never gone in. I'm usually not a fan of cheese steaks either but this was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I got the garlic cheese steak and added hot peppers with a side of curly fries. I hope to be able to come back and try other items on the menu because they all sound delicious. The service was fast and efficient and I can't say enough good things about this place!
This spot always looks busy whenever I visit Berkeley. We randomly stopped here the other night, since it was still open after 9pm and I wanted something of more quality than a cheeseburger. We tried to call in our order, but the line was busy. However, I got to stay in the car while my boyfriend went out in the rain to order for us. We got curly fries, a surf & turf, and a mushroom - both sandwiches regular in size. Although inside looked packed, we didn't wait more than 15/20 min for our food. It took as about another 25 min to get home, but our food was still warm! And, was it delicious! Kinda disappointed it took me this long to try them, but happy I finally did. Next time I'm in Berkeley, I am sure that will be one of my stops again :)
